BLS International Services, a leading global provider of visa, passport, and consular services, has successfully secured a visa processing contract for Cyprus, reinforcing its position as a trusted partner for international governments. The agreement covers end-to-end visa facilitation services, including application submission, biometric collection, document verification, and customer support.

In a symbolic gesture blending cultural diplomacy with strategic statecraft, Prime Minister Narendra Modi presented two artisanal gifts to Cyprus’ First Couple during his recent official visit. The exchange took place amid high-level discussions and bilateral agreements aimed at deepening trade, investment, and technological ties between India and Cyprus. Modi gifted a Kashmiri silk carpet featuring a two-tone illusion to President Nikos Christodoulides, while First Lady Philippa Karsera received a silver clutch crafted using the ancient repoussé technique.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, addressing the India-Cyprus CEO Forum in Limassol, underscored India’s meteoric economic rise and ambitious trajectory towards becoming the world’s third-largest economy. Highlighting policy reforms, digital innovation, and robust economic indicators, Modi projected India as a beacon of global opportunity. He emphasized the success of structural changes like GST and corporate tax reform, praised India’s digital payment dominance via UPI, and extended an invitation for Cyprus to integrate into India’s digital economy.
