The Citroën C3 Aircross has secured a 5-star safety rating for adult occupant protection and a 4-star rating for child occupant protection under India's Bharat New Car Assessment Programme (BNCAP). This achievement underscores Citroën's commitment to safety in the Indian automotive market. The tested variant was the 1.2-litre turbo-petrol automatic Max 5S, weighing 1,583 kg. The ratings apply to all 1.2-litre turbo-petrol versions in the 5-seater configuration.

Safety Performance in Bharat NCAP

Citroën India has officially rolled out the Basalt X, a premium variant of its coupe-style SUV, aimed at reshaping consumer expectations in the compact SUV segment. With prices beginning at Rs. 7.95 lakh and extending to Rs. 12.89 lakh, the Basalt X is designed to balance affordability with premium appeal. The model introduces features such as ventilated seating, ambient lighting, a 360-degree surround-view camera, and India’s first in-car artificial intelligence assistant, CARA.

In a strategic move to strengthen its retail financing ecosystem, Citroën India has partnered with HDFC Bank to offer a range of customized loan solutions to its customers. The collaboration aims to make Citroën vehicles more accessible to a wider audience by providing attractive financial products, including flexible EMIs, competitive interest rates, and digital application facilities.
